Description:
Andrei (William or “Bill”) Tremaine was a soloist with the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo who went on to become principal dancer, choreographer and artistic director of the Pacific Ballet Dance Theatre (Burbank). Tremaine was also noted as an instructor in a Los Angeles Times article, “Girl, 11, Once Paralyzed by TB, in Ballet,” 21 Jul. 1955. His studio was likely located at Bundy and San Vicente.
