- Description
- Photograph of Frank Lemberger standing in front of his hardware store near the corner of Downey Avenue and Truman Street. Frank Lemberger stands in the near distance at center in front of the open doorway to his hardware store. He crosses his arms in front of him as he looks to the camera. The storefront is constructed almost entirely of windows. Wares and goods sit outside the store, lining the sidewalk, as well as on display behind the windows. Above the door's lintel, a sign for the store hangs, it reads, "J. F. LEMBERGER." At far left, George W. Grimes stands in the doorway of his neighboring stationary store and leans against a wall between the two businesses.
