Carol Hill was "Miss America," Betty Yost, "Miss Confederacy," Madeline Hollingsworth, "Miss Texas," Shirley Gregory, "Miss Mexico," Betty Smith, "Miss Spain," and Marsenlane Elliott, "Miss France."
