German Georg Rickertsen has come to Los Angeles to work on deals of expansion of products such as walnuts and dried fruits in relation to his country. Germany buys 31% of its dried fruits from California. While Rickertsen or his associate Miss Elly Bartels do not condone all of Hitler's policies they do not deny the decrease in their country's unemployment and does not suspect that Germany wants to go to war.
