Genevra Howes Danby, at the driver's seat, poses with Sophye Barnard Anger, outside next to the driver's seat. Assistance League members are seen putting items in the truck bed. At the left, in black hat and gloves, is Virginia L. Crews Dunning. Mrs. Fredrick E. Potts stands with a gloved hand on her hip and behind her, to the left, is Mrs. Samuel K. Ridge. The address of the new Assistance League thrift shop, 1301 N. Western Ave., is written on the truck's door.
There is no date provided on the negative sleeve but similar images appear in the Los Angeles Times in May 1933, covering the new shop opening.
