This is a picture of 17-year-old actress Rochelle Hudson, in the office of Superior Judge McComb to have her contract to appear in motion pictures approved. She is sitting on a shelf lined with numerous volumes of the New Calif. Digest and Corpus Jurius. A framed certificate on the wall behind her is made out to Marshall McComb, commissioning him as Captain of California Naval Militia in 1933.
