Notes
- Description
- A fire engulfs one of many oil wells in an oil field in what possibly is Santa Fe Springs. Several dozen wells dot the landscape, as well as machinery, smoke stacks, pipes, and countless telephone wires and their towers. Also included in this image are pedestrians, some in police or security uniform, others in workmen's clothes. Road signs warn of the nearby risks, reading, "STOP DANGER" and "ROAD CLOSED" for example. Motorcycles are parked next to the signs.
