The Georgia Street Receiving Hospital, one of several throughout the city during this period, operated from 1927 to 1957 on the 3rd floor of the Georgia Street Police Station at 1337 Georgia. This block of Georgia St., near Pico Blvd. no longer exists and is no the site of the Staples Center.
