- Fidel La Barba, smiles directly at the camera while sitting at a desk with a typewriter and documents. He wears glasses, a tie, and sport jacket. Behind him is a window with the blinds closed. La Barba was a former championship fighter, who upon retirement, attended Stanford and received journalism degree. He became a sportswriter and eventually became a boxing advisor for Hollywood films.
