View of Fred Meyers standing in bowtie and tuxedo, arms around new wife, former Ann Campbell, standing in flower headdress with veil, and wedding dress. The couple was married onstage during "The Drunkard" performance at the San Diego Expo. Fred Meyers, a barker for the Gold Gulch at the San Diego expo, was rescued from a disabled craft off Coronado Islands along with other passengers only a few days after his wedding, as reported in the Los Angeles Times, 9/6/1935, "Bridegroom in Group Escaping Sea Death."
