Merrie Pfluger swings her badminton racket.
Miss Merrie Pfluger is a member of the newly organized athletic department of the California Women of the Golden West, which already is enrolling a large membership. The department has just been instituted by Mrs. Arthur S. Bailey, president. The women met for their first club affair to golf at the Wilshire Country Club this week. Miss Pfluger also is a badminton enthusiast. The section will embrace golf, badminton and swimming.
