The annual old folks picnic was held at Sycamore Grove thanks to the Federation of States Society. Entertainment was provided by accordion player Alma Dube, and the old folks enjoyed dancing. The oldest in attendance was 106-year-old Hiram H. Reynolds and the longest-married couple was Mr. and Mrs. Winslow Thomas, married 63 years.
