Russian-born Dr. Jacques W. Maliniak began his work as a reconstructive surgeon in Paris during WWI, just after completing his studies at the University of Paris. He emigrated to the United States from Germany in 1923 became a naturalized citizen in 1929.
Photograph of Dr. Jacques W. Maliniak, reconstructive surgery pioneer, seated, wearing a three-piece suit and tie. The surgeon, visited surgery clinics while in Los Angeles.
