On the property of the original Mexican land grant of Rancho Santa Paula y Saticoy. The ranch was purchaseed by Edmund C. Converse, Jr. in 1908.
Edward C. Converse (aka Edmund C. Converse, Jr.) is one of three heirs to a fortune of more than $100,000,000 from his father's death.
The parlor ion the Craftsman style house taken from the other side of the room shows a long room with a checkered floor and lots of natural lighting from the windows and door. There are several pieces of wicker furniture arranged throughout the room.
