The Highland Park Police Station is an institutional Renaissance Revival style building located at 6045 York Blvd. and is the city's oldest surviving police station. Built from 1925-1926, the station opened in April 1926. Closed in 1983, the station has been designated as a Historic Cultural Monument and listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is operated as the Los Angeles Police Museum (2012).
