The article states: "M.D. Andrews … filed a petition requesting that the Council pass a resolution condemning the old Dool Building, recently purchased by the Kress Company…"
The Dool Building (later, the T.C. Worthy building), formerly located at the intersection of E. Second St. and Rockwood Ave., was demolished in 2010.
