Newspaper clipping of a column written by Art Buchwald (1925-2007) titled, "Josephine Baker is not Angry." In the interview from Paris, Buchwald speaks with the then 54-year-old expatriate performer about her plans to return to the United States. Baker planned to bring her revue to Florida and Chicago before ending on Broadway. The article notes Baker's support of 11 adopted children as the reason for her return. She also addresses the misquote that led the public to believe she would never come back to America, and her famous public battle with columnist and former ally Walter Winchell.
