This photograph is very similar to photographs of Aimee Semple McPherson captioned, "Throngs Greet Evangelist on Appearance to Relate Kidnapping Story Left--Arrow points to Mrs. McPherson as she appeared when on her way from her automobile to the entrance to the Hall of Justice. She was attired in her pulpit robe--white gown and blue cape thrown over her shoulders--and was surrounded and accompanied by a group of young women from Angeles Temple who acted as a guard of honor. Center--The evangelist is shown about to enter the grand jury room. She is accompanied by her attorney, Arthur Veitch. Right--As Mrs. McPherson emerged from the grand jury room at the noon recess she was greeted again by her guard of Temple workers. Arrow points to evangelist," Los Angeles Times, 09 Jul. 1926: 2
Aimee Semple McPherson, Arthur Veitch and her followers stand in a group at the end of a hallway in the Hall of Justice. Mrs. McPherson stands at center and faces camera with her eyes closed. She holds scrolled up papers in her hands and dons her white pulpit gown and a cape. To the right of her, Arthur Veitch stands. He smiles to the camera and holds his hat by his side. Surrounding them are several of Mrs. McPherson's followers. The women dress in the same manner as Mrs. McPherson. They don a similar hairstyle and wear white gowns with capes.
Similar photographs of the same event appear as a small photo spread titled, "Pastor Marches Between Lines of Her Followers to Appear Before County Investigators," Los Angeles Times, 09 Jul. 1926: 2
