A stream of flood waters occupies the foreground at left and extends back behind its bank to the right. Its near bank, in the foreground at right, is muddy and covered in debris, including what appears to be wood siding. On the far bank and at center, a debris pile of rocks and boulders sits in front of a debris pile of lumber and wood. A few men stand atop the wood pile and comb through it. To the left of them, and nearer to the bank, several men carry a large object. Trees rise from the canyon floor as it stretches into the distance.
Different photographs of the flood in Little Santa Anita Canyon appear in a photo spread titled, "Little Santa Anita Canyon Flood Victim; Traffic Bridges Out," Los Angeles Times, 09 Apr. 1926: A12
