Description: Anna Wendel holds her deceased father-in-law's German passport, which helps establish her and her three children's relationship with Ella Wendel, who died without children and left her multi-million dollar estate to charity. The Southern California Wendels pursued a claim, along with 2000 others across the country, to gain a portion of the New York estate of Ella Wendel after she died in 1931.
