Milo Warner and Ruth Borman awaiting release from jail. They spent a week in jail and she was eventually indicted for kidnapping her biological child. However, on Dec. 16, 1932 a judge threw out the kidnapping indictment and returned custody of the child to Borman. See Los Angeles Times article, "Court Upholds Young Mother," 17 Dec. 1932: A10.
