Thomas looks off to the right. Mr. Thomas appears to wear handcuffs on his left wrist. Several other men stand in a small cluster behind them. Ducts line a low ceiling above the men and subway tiles stretch across the back wall. A sign posted on the back wall at left reads, "PRISONER [...] NO SMOKIN[G]."
