Oscar Solbert (L), President Coolidge's personal representative and escort for the Swedish royal party during their visit to the United States, on the observation platform of their train at Barstow in the Mojave Desert. Three other men are on the platform and two men look up at them from below. A sign on the platform reads "the Navajo. Santa Fe all the way."
