PORTUGUESE: Arranjo do gênero musical Frevo para execução da banda da polícia militar do estado de Pernambuco no Brasil. No início do século XX a banda recebe o nome do seu maestro Capitão Zuzinha (José Lourenço da Silva). Historicamente os arranjos da polícia militar foram criados por diversos compositores populares. Desde 2012 a Unesco reconhece o Frevo, ritmo tradicional do Carnaval pernambucano, como patrimônio imaterial da humanidade.
ENGLISH: Arrangement of musical genre Frevo for the performance of military police band of the state of Pernambuco in Brazil. At the beginning of the 20th century, the band was named after its maestro Captain Zuzinha (José Lourenço da Silva). Historically, military police arrangements were created by several popular composers. Since 2012, UNESCO has recognized Frevo, the traditional rhythm of Pernambuco's Carnival, as an intangible heritage of humanity. - Contents note
